Neot HaKikar: Where Community Spirit Blossoms

If you’ve driven past Neot HaKikar lately, you might have noticed a little extra spring in our step—and for good reason! Our beloved moshav is buzzing with new faces, fresh projects, and a sense of togetherness that’s hard to miss.

A Growing Family

This past year, Neot HaKikar has welcomed more new families than we’ve seen in decades. Just over the summer, five families unpacked their boxes and joined our community, bringing the total to ten new families in the last two years. The demand to join our moshav is higher than ever, and we couldn’t be happier to see our family grow.

The Power of “Together”

What’s our secret? It’s all about the “together.” From the start, Neot HaKikar has thrived on volunteer spirit. Our committees—run by dedicated residents—keep things running smoothly, from organizing events to improving daily life. Every new family is greeted with open arms, guided from their first inquiry to full integration, and quickly become part of our vibrant routine.

We cherish our traditions but also love fresh ideas. By blending the old with the new, we create a community where everyone feels at home—whether you’ve been here for decades or just arrived.

Security and Readiness

Living on the border brings its challenges, but our community faces them head-on. Our emergency response team is always ready, working closely with security forces and the regional council. We’ve upgraded our equipment, expanded our team, and keep our shelters and drills up to date. While the security situation isn’t always easy, we’re committed to keeping Neot HaKikar safe and sound.

Looking Ahead

What’s next for Neot HaKikar? We’re not slowing down! Plans are underway for a temporary camp to welcome even more families, infrastructure upgrades, and a shiny new machine room for the swimming pool. Yes, bureaucracy sometimes slows us down, but our determination never wavers.

We’re also investing in education, youth projects, and cultural events that make life here richer. Our local businesses are growing, and grassroots social initiatives are popping up everywhere—proof that our community’s heart beats strong.

Our Vision

In five years, we see a lively, thriving Neot HaKikar: more families, more children, better facilities, and a community spirit that only gets stronger. Our partnerships—with neighbors in Ein Tamar, the Tamar Regional Council, and beyond—are key to our success. Their support helps us turn dreams into reality, big and small.
