As the school year draws to a close, our communities around the Dead Sea have been celebrating in style — and what a season it has been. From the youngest pupils to our school-leavers stepping out into the world, the past weeks have been filled with achievement, emotion, and more than a little excitement.
A grand opening for Sports Day
There was no better way to inaugurate the brand-new sports hall at Ein Tamar than with a Sports Day buzzing with energy. Children raced, cheered, and gave it their all in a gleaming new space built to serve our communities for years to come. The hall is a wonderful addition to the region — and judging by the smiles (and the noise!), it has already been thoroughly broken in.
Moving onward and upward
For our Grade 6 pupils, this end-of-year ceremony marked something bigger than the summer holidays. They are moving up to middle school — a new building, a new chapter, and a coming-together of children from across the Dead Sea region. New classmates, new friendships, and new adventures await. It is always a bittersweet moment to watch them go, but they step forward ready and proud, and we could not be prouder of them.
Dancing into the limelight
Our Dance Studio brought the curtain down on another spectacular year with a dazzling finale. This extra-curricular programme has gone from strength to strength and become one of the real success stories of our region, nurturing confidence, creativity, and no small amount of talent. The finale was a joy to behold — a fitting celebration of the dedication shown by our young dancers and their teachers throughout the year.
Into the big wide world
And this week, we mark the most poignant milestone of all: the graduation of our 12th-graders. After years of growing up together on the shores of the Dead Sea, they now set out into the world — to military service, to university, to travel, and to all that lies ahead. They carry with them the warmth of the communities that raised them, and they leave behind a region that will always be home. We wish them courage, joy, and every success on the road ahead.
To all our pupils, teachers, and families — congratulations on a wonderful year. Here’s to a restful summer, and to all the beginnings still to come.
